Office info
Your Visit The first visit generally lasts one and a half hours. It begins with a thorough interview to obtain a detailed medical, surgical, social, and family history; medications, and other pertinent information. Dr. Tsai then continues by performing a full physical exam; checking the head, heart, lungs, abdomen, muskuloskeletal system, and nervous system. Next, the patient will then lie down on the table. A light palpatory examination will be performed to evaluate structural restrictions, motion and texture of tissues, and flow of fluids. The findings will help diagnose the cause of the illness or injury and help guide the treatments. Follow up visits are generally 40 minutes. It excludes the detailed history taking. However, at the beginning of every visit, Dr. Tsai will always re-evaluate the patient's structural restrictions, motion and texture of tissues, and flow of fluids. During the exam, patients will remain fully clothed. Please dress comfortably, for example, cloths with light fabric, sports wear, and preferably no jeans. Please allow sufficient time for travel and the visit so you don't feel rushed. The state of being of the patient can affect the effectiveness of the treatment. Payment information Dr. Tsai does NOT accept any liens, PPO, HMO, nor Medi-Cal insurance, only regular Medicare primary with a supplemental insurance. For non-Medicare patients, payment is expected at the time of service and at the end of each session, the office will provide a superbill with codes that the patient can send to his/her insurance company for direct reimbursement. Sorry we do not provide any insurance billing service other than Medicare. |
